The following components are needed to install stoves, fireplaces or indoor braais.
Pipes come in various thickness and widths. Cheaper pipes are available (± R70.00 each) but we do not recommend them as maintenance is high which will only add to costs in the long run.
We recommend that a minimum of 3 pipes are used as this improves air flow significantly and avoids smoking stoves.
We carry two types of pipess
Pipe lenghts ranges from 900 mm to 1200 mm
Bends are needed when the pipes will not go in a straight line through the roof. 45° or 90° bends can be used. For instance – the pipes will go through the wall and up on the other side of the wall. This will use 2 bends.
On top of chimney to regulate wind and prevent rain from coming in.
Only needed when the pipe goes through a ceiling. Objective is to tidy the hole up and make it neat.

It seals the roof and makes it waterproof. Lead is used as it will expand and contract with the weather – Contact us for prices.
To ensure the installation is fireproof one needs to insulate the pipes from the ceiling to the roof. Only required when the chimney goes through the ceiling. Ceramic wool can withstand heat up to 1200 °C. Comes in 1-meter strips. – Prices on Request
